Avrie couldn’t wait to get back to the hotel room and swim Friday night. She was swimming after 10:00 p.m. Can we go to sleep yet? Avrie is my stay up late, sleep in kid.

Avrie had a dance competition in Logan Fri. and Sat. So we had opened a few presents in the hotel room Sat morn. and then headed off to dance the day away. We skipped out on awards and went home after her last dance.

We are going backpacking for spring break. We have been getting ready for this hike for months. We have dehydrated some of our own food and snacks. We are going down south to Grand Gulch- Bullet Canyon.We are leaving at 5:00 am. and we will hike 8 miles in our first day. I am a little excited and a little nervous. We have camped before but never went backpacking where we have to pack everything that we need for 4 days on our backs. Crazy? Maybe. I am sad because Ryler and T will not be going with us. They are growing up and are getting  lives of there own. T has to stay for Baseball, and Ryler has to stay because of his Drivers Ed test. We will miss them. They better behave! Will post pix when we get back.

My sis called today and said,”guess what i am having?” She sounded excited so i said, “Girl?” She said, “yes, and……..” It took me a minute and then i realized what she was saying. Twins! Noway! I cant believe it. A girl and a boy. I am so excited! I cant wait. I think she is still kinda shocked. She was told she would never have kids and now she will have 3. yea! yea! yea! Whats funny about the whole thing is she was playing a  April Fools joke on people yesterday and telling them that she was having twins. Then today she had her ultra sound. She said she must have jinxed herself.

Me and Av spent Thurs, Fri, and Sat at a dance competition in bountiful. Av did a duo with her good friend bria. It was her first duo. They did so good and took 2nd. She also performed 3 other dances and took second in all of them. She is getting so good. Way to go Avrie!
